I want to run for drama club treasurer because this past year, I have experienced a lot of great things as a part of this club and I would like that feeling to continue. Being a freshman can be terrifying and I feel as if being a part of this club calmed many of my fears. As a drama club officer, I would make sure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable and that everyone feels like they always have a friend to talk to. I think I am fit for this role because I am a very responsible person. I can be cool under pressure, organized, and I am able to see a decision from different sides. Being an officer may be a stressful job, but I feel as if I am prepared to handle it. The treasurer does what the president hands off to them and I am good at doing assigned work accurately and efficiently. I am also good at tracking finances and budgeting for expenses. …show more content…
Not only would I ensure a welcoming environment, I’d make the club a lot of fun. Many people aren’t comfortable being in shows, and that’s completely fine because that’s not what this club is entirely about. Yes, there are the shows obviously, but I want to see this club become so much more. I feel like this club is about learning to express yourself on the stage and off and building a comfortable, welcoming environment is the first step. Over this past year I've built trust and friendship within this club. I've learned that there's always someone who is proud of you and who is there to support you. I've learned how to embrace who I am and I've learned what it means to be a Brave. As an elected drama club official, I want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to learn and develop in a place they can feel safe doing

I plan to continue to have fun events like this Wednesday’s movie night so that people can attend them and enjoy themselves while learning about the goals of our club, making them interested in participating. Events would be announced during homeroom along with encouragement to join Global Ambassadors and information about our mission. We could create a tradition with a special annual event and consider getting it and other events on the Three Village website’s calendar. I plan to ask about having articles in our Kaleidoscope newspaper about our club, its goals, and various events and fundraisers.…

At my school, Early College Academy at Southridge, our clubs are student lead giving students the chance to show leadership skills and create community service projects for our clubs. In junior year, I created a club called the Rock ‘N’ Roll Club. In the club, the members appreciate the historic genre of rock and roll as well as enhance our skills in instruments and vocals. I created this club to give students at my school a chance to have an opportunity to try their hand at playing instruments they never get the chance to play, as well as improve their vocal skills with their fellow class members by peer critique, duets, acapellas and solos. This club has also host a school Valentine related concert where we show our fellow classmates what…
