Explain Why I Want To Obtain Your Degree To Christian University

There are many reasons why I want to get my degree from Colorado Christian University. One of the most important reasons for me came on August nineteenth two-thousand fifteen at eight thirty-seven pm, a blessing was brought into my life. That blessing that God gave me was my little baby girl named Emery Sue Schmidt. At that moment I decided that I needed to be a good role model for my daughter. I realized one of the best ways is to get enrolled in college and start taking classes. Also I was prior military and will get thirty-six months of schooling paid for by the military. On top of the military paying for my education they will also pay me basic housing allowance, so the military will basically pay me for going to school. Therefore some of that money I will receive from the military can be used to pay for my wife to start college classes at Colorado Christian University. …show more content…
As of right now my current position is a Non-Certified Detention Deputy. This position allows me to have authority while I’m on duty, but not while off duty. Also being a Non-Certified Detention Deputy, I’m restricted as to what I can do within the Sheriff's Department. My current position allows me to work inside the detention facility only. I still have restrictions within the detention facility for example, I’m not allowed to write offense reports only incident reports. The main difference between these reports is an offense report is an actually crime that has occurred. This is just one restriction out of the many that I face being a Non-Certified Detention Deputy.
