The reason I want to college is; one, I want a better life then just getting a fast food job, and two, I want to prove to myself I can do it. All my life I been told to graduate high school and go to college. Both of my older sisters dropped of of high school. That fact also motivate me to do better then what they did. I worry about how I can handle actually being on my own instead of being under the car of my mom or others. I was always pampered and I'm scared that when I go to college that it would be to hard for because I am not being helped in some way. The "Shift Happens" is relevant to this subject because it shows how Americans are becoming less educated and our kids are giving up before they even try. College is so much harder then
