Explain Why I Want To Become An Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Why an obstetrician/gynecologists? Why? The reason one would like to become an obstetrician/gynecologists is because one has had experience in that line of work already and loved it. Over the summer of 2015 one had the chance to work and have a mentor that could guide you through every procedure they took with a patient at Pregnancy Aids Center. Once being there and learning new topics each day, gave you a real life experience on what you could be doing someday. On whom you could be 10 years from now. At Pregnancy Aids Center you were actually dealing with real life people, real life women, pregnant women walking in and out of the clinic. Not only did one work as an MA Trainee and learn basic tasks such as sterilizing a room or translating to patients who needed it, but also had the chance to accomplish more challenging tasks such as taking inventory of all medications on cabinet and write notes on a patients file. The way positive reinforcement will help me in my career field, is by first giving newly-mothers felicitations for becoming pregnant and thanking them for coming in to the clinic to get themselves and the baby checked out. As a result the newly-mothers will continue to come to the clinic for their routinely checkups to check how their baby’s doing.
