Ever since then I have known if I decided to try to join any fraternity it would be Alpha Phi Alpha Inc. So to sum it all up I want to be a part of this great organization for several different reasons to become a better leader, be successful and educated, be surrounded around greatness, my high school mentors, and giving back to the community. Now on the other hand, brotherhood is something that most people believe is something that only comes from being related to someone. However, to me brotherhood is a bond made by two or more males. This bond is formed when either the two or more have experience something that made them closer than before, it could be life or death or just having fun together. Whichever one it maybe the males in the process of forming this brotherhood will always know that they will have someone to have his back in the thick or thin and will only do what is best for him, even if he doesn’t like it, to make him a better man at the end of the day. To me each and every one of the brotherhood bonds that a male makes with another will always be different simply because he will have been through different things together with each

Throughout history the National Honor Society has become synonymous with the best of the best. A school club that has built a legacy on students who exemplify the ideals of leadership, service, character, and citizenship. To even be considered for a group of this nature would be an honor within itself. Leadership is simply defined as the action of leading a group of people or an organization however, I believe leadership to be much more than simply being in charge. True leadership is simply more than being bossy and I have learned this through my experiences within boy scouts.…

First and foremost, the organization promotes unity within the Latino community. Being united as Latinos is essential because together we acquire great accomplishments for the betterment of the community as well as ourselves. Moreover, being united provides the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities as Latinos and break the barriers society has imposed upon us. For me, being able to interact with Latinos at UNCG, through this organization, and having the opportunity to meet individuals who demonstrate valuable character is of great importance.…
