Explain Why I Want To Be A Radiology Technician

At eight months pregnant, I took an unfortunate fall. This landed me with a quick drive to the emergency room. Which in turn, set me in front of the person who would change my life forever.
I was nineteen and petrified, the people closest to my heart could not calm my fears. My mind was racing; until, I saw a friendly face. The radiology technician had arrived.
Things took a turn for the best. I will never forget the genuine care and compassion that I received from her; at a time that I needed it more than anything. Her calm, reassuring attitude was contagious. She had the opportunity to make people feel this way every day. All I could think at that moment was that there should be more people like her in the world.

From the time I was in middle school, I have always had a curiosity in the medical field and an interest in human anatomy. My entire life, my greatest strength was my care giving personality and sincere concern for other people. However, with so many health care fields I was lost with where I wanted to go.

The more I learned, the more I loved. The more people I talked to, the more cement my decision became. Helping in the process of diagnosing patients, explaining procedures and just being present as a person with sincere compassion every day is what makes me love this field. The endless possibilities and skills you can acquire sets being a radiology technician apart from every other health care career.
My need to become a radiology technician will never cease. If I could make even one person feel the way the radiology technician made me feel that day, my dedication to this field will be
