I believe I should be considered for an endowed scholarship because throughout my first year at Loyola I’ve showcased my commitment towards being a top student and an advocate for social justice that embodies the values under Loyola’s mission.
During my first year, I challenged myself with a rigorous academic plan and reached my goal of performing my best as reflected by my GPA. I also improved on my weaknesses and discovered new strengths that I will carry on throughout my life. I believe my academic achievements showcase my drive to make the most of my time here as a student, and gaining a scholarship will allow me to continue to focus on my studies.
