I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I have not been successful with getting scholarships yet and I need help to continue my education. I am the first person in my family to have ever graduated high school. My parents are not willing to help me further my education since college is really expensive and they don't have money to send me to college. I am looking for scholarships and working where ever I can so I can save some money for college. Therefore I want to get this scholarship to help cover the cost of my book, rent, and tuition.
