In this essay I will be explaining why I believe in the afterlife and what makes me such a strong believer of things we can’t always see. I strongly believe in the afterlife for multiple reasons. The best place to start would have to be back in 2005 when I was 7 and I lived back on Hidden Lakes located in front of Ingles near Baton Elementary School. Everything started at that place. During the time that we was living there we had many strange occurrences and I know that sounds cliche but this isn’t like the average ghost story that you hear every now and again. Our neighbors to the right of us lived in this beautiful log cabin but there was something off about the family itself. One night my dad went out on the back porch and he had heard what he described as the worst argument he had heard in his life. Through shut doors and closed windows, He could hear cussing and screaming with things being broken and torn. It was so bad he had to get Mom out there to listen with him so he knew he wasn’t dreaming the next day but he wasn’t even our worst neighbor. The neighbor on the left was the real problem. Our house when we first moved in wasn’t anything special. After a few years of living there we finally had enough money for an above ground pool and after we had gotten it installed we had notice something very strange about our neighbor. Every time someone came outside to swim our neighbor would go in his backyard as well. He would turn on his water hose and just hold it at a random part of his yard and while holding the hose he would blankly stare at us for however long we would go swimming. That isn’t even the worst part, The worst part was when it had snowed really bad that year and after it had stopped we went outside to see footprints leading from his house to our front door and
