First reason I am proud to be Canadian is since Canada has one of the best healthcare system. Canada is one of few countries that provides free healthcare. This means that people are able to get basic treatments despite their personal income and standard of living. Canada’s healthcare is also considered one of the best since it is very accessible meaning that there are many hospitals that are available for people to visit and use. Moreover Canada’s healthcare is efficient since there is a high standard for becoming a doctor. This means that the doctors treating the patients are very well trained and are able to help and treat the patients in a skillful manner. Secondly, I have pride in being Canadian is due to Canada’s astonishing education …show more content…
These places of entertainment drive people from all over the world to visit Canada. Some of those places include Niagra Falls, Canada's Wonderland, CN Tower, as well as many other astonishing cites. Approximately 14 million people visit Niagara falls yearly. Next, I am proud to be Canadian since Canada is home to many amazing people such as Terry Fox, who fought against cancer and raised many funds for cancer research. Terry fox also lost a leg during his battle against cancer. However, that did not stop him from achieving his goal. Shortly after terry lost his leg he began to run across Canada to increase awareness and raise money for cancer research. Canada is also home to Alexander Graham Bell who taught the deaf and created the first telephone. Alexander's creation then evolved and became more modern and is currently a huge part of our daily life. Additionally, Canada has many amazing soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives during the first world war. Today, we honor these soldiers by wearing poppies and devoting November, 11 to remembering them. In my poster, I also included things that represent being
