The first time my dad asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I lied and said I wanted to become a veterinarian. It was the first thing that came to mind and I honestly had no clue what I wanted to be, but at the time I felt like I needed to have an answer. I needed to have a clear path; however, the only thing I was sure about was that I wanted to go to college. The reasons I’m going to college now are because I want to be a good example for my younger siblings, it opens the door for more opportunities, and you can make more money. One of the most important reasons why I’m going to college is because I want to lead by example for my younger siblings. I want to show them that if I can do it then they can do it too.
