The first time my dad asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I lied and said I wanted to become a veterinarian. It was the first thing that came to mind and I honestly had no clue what I wanted to be, but at the time I felt like I needed to have an answer. I needed to have a clear path; however, the only thing I was sure about was that I wanted to go to college. The reasons I’m going to college now are because I want to be a good example for my younger siblings, it opens the door for more opportunities, and you can make more money.
