The first two years of high school can be very difficult for students. These students are newer to high school and can experience stress, tension, and a lot of work. That is why it is quite important to have support classes like a study hour, a mentoring class, and a school involvement course.
The students need study hour because many students who are freshmen don't into the transition so well. The get twice as much of work they are so stressed out. Especially when they have finals and different test. Many students that I know fall behind and they say that it is very hard to get everything back together. It is hard because it takes a lot of time and a lot thinking, but sometimes they are days where there is no time to even do your homework
