It's estimated that about 30,000 people every year die from gun deaths. A lot of those deaths are from self-defense. Making guns’ illegal wouldn't do anything because people still have them and can buy them illegally. If someone wanted one bad enough they would buy it off the black market. People are wrong, because a lot of people that die are just innocent people that have been just protecting their families and themselves. The reason 30,000 people have died is because all of the police shootings, and all of the people that have been protecting themselves and others from people trying to hurt them. For these people that think guns should be illegal there could be some changes with the way we do the background checks. They need to make them better. Only 3.1 million people were not allowed to buy a gun last year and about 200 million guns were bought. There also should be some laws put down about where people can have a gun and carry a gun in public. If they did some of these things people would view guns a lot safer than what they think of
