Should cursive handwriting stay in our school system? There has been a lot of discussion on this topic. There are many good points on both sides of this issue.
There are many people who agree on cursive handwriting stay in our school system. They say that cursive handwriting is good for the mind and helps our brain cells perform better. They also mention that cursive handwriting helps fine tune our childrens learning process. Anouther point they mention is it reduces with brain injurys through out life. These are valid concerns.
On the contrary, there are many people who argue against keeping cursive in our school system. The Opponents of this claim say that cursive has to be replaced by electronic's due to our worlds advancement. They also claim that education must move forward to keep up with our world. Because students learn more buy handwriting notes than useing a electronic device. Also why should our children not learn how to write with there hands and work there brains like we have when we where a child? As a father i expect my children to learn everything they can to further educate them for there future. Therefore I firmly believe that cursive handwriting should stay in our school systems.
