Explain Why Christians Believe In Heaven And Hell

Why do Christians believe in heaven and hell, well many think that there is a heaven and hell because its what they believe in, like Jesus will return, their will be a judgment and also Gods people will live with him forever so in believing that it would lead you to believing in heaven and hell. This is because in believing that Jesus will return and a judgment you can either be taken with him to heaven or sent to hell. Why Christians believe in heaven and hell really falls on what they believe because in the Kreeft and Tacelli book it talks about how there is no scientific evidence for heaven. This is something that someone may argue that because there is not scientific evidence how can it be true? But to Christians they rely on their belief and learnings and believe that way (99). The view that Christians have on hell is that it’s a punishment of eternal conscious suffering for those who reject God, and also there is not chance to escape after death, because there is only life by the faith in Christ. So an example of this being would be from the bible, in Roman 8:29-30 it basically says that he knew in advance that he was going to choose him to be his son and having the right for him to call upon them and stand by him with all his brothers and sisters. So it shows that God new in advance what he was planning to do and having heaven and hell so that they could all stand together. Also another example would be in Ephesians 1:5,11 and that says that God had decided in advance that he was going to adopt us into his own family and bring himself though Jesus Christ. So it shows that he had a plan all along to have a place for all of us to go like heaven to come together and live with him, for the ones that choose
