Negative behaviour can be seen when the children's and young people's needs are not being met such as lack of sleep and when they are hungry. As a teacher, my belief is that students be taught the importance of mathematics in the daily life. I can say that based on the type of life I was living with my parents my sense of independence came at a very early age.
