Explain Why Children Need To Be The Same Routine

There needs to be the same routine at the beginning of every lesson. So children will notice that the lesson has started. It can start with the same song, rhyme, etc.

“Then, for example, revise a few items of vocabulary (with pictures) and add one or two new ones. Or ask them a question that they know but have not heard with those pictures. This will prepare them for learning something new (Roth, 1998, p. 14).” Children learn quickly but they also forget very quickly. The revision is good for them to remind what they have learnt during the last lesson.

Children like to finish what they are doing. It is necessary to give them a plenty of time for finishing the activity or paper work, otherwise they can be frustrated. Little children do not
