There are many opinions on athletes being good role models. Some people believe that it is good to have someone popular to look up to. Others agree that you should have a role model that you can talk to and interact with. Athletes should not be role models for many reasons including that you need to have a role model that you can talk to when you are down and when you need someone to trust. Second your role model should be your parents they will always be by your side. Some people may say that have someone popular is important however it’s more important to have a role model that you can talk to, athletes are a bad influence on children you don’t know what you role model is doing when he/she is off stage, when you know everything your parents
