What passions have you discovered, developed, nurtured?

The passion I am most able to relate to is being responsible for nurturing and growing your passion. Particularly, a passion I have nurtured is learning more about my field. I stepped away from teaching for a few years and while I stepped away a lot has changed. My field has shifted from viewing teaching a language explicitly by focusing on vocabulary, textbooks, and grammar to learning a language from the perspective of language acquisition. In the classroom this looks like the following; a focus on few high frequency structures/words, delivering instruction through comprehensible input meaning language input that can be understood by listeners despite them not understanding all the
