What other kinds of creatures survive in the desert?

What kind of adaptations would a human need to develop in order to live in hot, desert-like conditions?
Camels share their desert home with lizards, dung beetles, cobras, locusts, vultures, scorpions, termites, hares, hedgehogs, foxes, hyenas and jackals — to name a few.

Encourage creativity — some examples from the animal kingdom include big ears, like the fennec fox, to help cool down, a fluffy tail, like the squirrel, to provide shade whenever it gets too hot or the sand-blocking eyelids and eyelashes of the camel.
A camel has many adaptations to help it survive in the desert. Draw an animal that would be perfect for surviving in either
