Industrialization is defined as the development of industries in a given country with time. Industrialization transformed human groups from an agrarian society into an industrial and modernized one. Some countries were able to take an early lead in becoming industrialized as they had access to more raw materials as well as they were more politically and economically established from the beginning than other countries. Industrialization marked a shift from basic machines and hand tools to powered, heavy machinery, factories and mass production.
One such country that was able to take an early lead in industrialization was Britain. As stated above, Britain was economically established.
