What does it mean to “come of age”?
To come of age is to transition from being a child to becoming an adult; going through different major milestones/phases in life. You reach an age where you change your place in society. If you are 2 years old, you don’t go to school but when you are 5, you enter elementary school, then middle school, then high school, then you go off the university, then enter to active lifestyle where you learn to depend on yourself to survive. You gain more independency as you grow older. People learn to respect you more, you know yourself better as you grow up because of everything that you have been through.
