I personally think that working with a friend really helps motivate you when working out. It is a lot more fun having a friend you enjoy spending time with, to talk to when doing a workout you do not enjoy. A friend can also motivate you to work harder and encourage you to go to the gym more often. Research has also shown that exercising with a friend gives people more energy, higher spirits, and less fatigue. This makes sense because when you are with someone you enjoy then you will probably forget about the fact that you are exercising and think more about the fun you are having.
