There are three levels in the neonatal nursing career. First Level nurses take care healthy babies. The first level required newborn to stay in the same room with their mothers after birth so this level is decreasing. Second Level nurses take care of sick and premature babies, which require constant attention. Level Three nurses have intensive responsibilities, working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit focus on seriously ill or premature babies, so they need constant intensive care.
