The Three Branches of Government
There are many different kinds of government systems used all over the world, but the United States of America has chosen to have three different branches of government that perform and carry out many different, given tasks. The three branches of government are legislative, executive, and judicial branches that make up the United States Government. The legislative branch has the power to make new laws and form any new public policies that it deems necessary. While the executive branch is granted the power to enforce and administer new laws, the judicial branch interprets these laws that are set forth by the legislative branch and enforced by the executive branch of the government. All of these different branches of government come together and they help the country run smoothly.
Each different branch of government has a very important role and there are many workers and politicians among these different parts of government that work very hard and do everything they can to ensure that this country is the very best. Those who have powers under the legislative branch are the House of Representative and the Senate. Together, the House of Representatives and the Senate create Congress, which is all under the legislative branch of government.
The Legislative Branch of government checks the other branches of government in many different ways. The Executive Branch is in charge of appointing leaders in different parts of the government, but if the Legislative Branch believes and decides that one of these leaders is not performing their tasks properly, the Legislative Branch has the power to veto that leader.
