Explain The Strategies To Help Children And Their Families

Three strategies to help children and their families, in the community, school and promote well-being.
1. Contact agencies that provide after school, weekend and summer break activities, which focus directly and fostering children and family needs.
2. Resources for schools in the community, that provides opportunities for children and their family to succeed.
3. Contact subsides and nonprofits resources to help with childcare, food and transportation.

First: I would ask the family what type of activity they see themselves participating in, as a family and individually. After, I would find community centres that provide free or subsidies programs, such as, (YMCA, Cassie Campbell community centre). The family and I would go to the centre and sign up for programs. This will help the parent(s), and children to feel a part of the community, a place to go when life becomes stressful. The children would be able to join programs, such as computer, volley ball and basket ball club. There will be opportunity for the children to receive extra assistance in subjects they are having difficulties in. This will help the children and family; feel the school community is supportive and willing to work with them for the betterment of the children.
