3) The proposed funding mechanisms of the NHI include increase in direct taxation which is increase in income tax as well as inheritance tax. Another mechanism is indirect taxation which is due on taxes levied on transactions as well as goods and services no matter the size of the business. Payroll taxation is another way of potential revenue sources for NHI. This includes taxation on employer and employee contributions. Another mechanism is also the increase of VAT on products to generate revenue for NHI.

4) NHI will be rolled out in three phases. Phase one includes a fund that will be started to fund attainment of providers at the PHC level which includes nurses, community health care workers ect. Phase two includes attaining the health services through the NHI fund and attaining resources

In this day and age that we live in, where the world is constantly evolving and prices continue to increase will in fact bring upon strain on my financial means to support myself and my family and the NHI. This is unfair to those who are unemployed and contribute nothing towards the NHI.
b) As a future healthcare provider/professional the NHI will have a positive impact on me. Being a Radiographer means that I would not be dealing with PHC outreach teams or being a part of school health services. I would be part of the District based clinical specialist teams.
The reason for this being that in PHC outreach teams it is composed of nurses and caregivers and they try their best to provide the best essential treatment and care for their patients to improve their health and that way they would not need to have X-rays done and in that way they would be limiting their radiation dosage as that is one of the main aspects we have to keep in mind every single time I perform an
