Explain The Norms For External Locus Of Control

The scale indicates your degree of external locus of control. Any score larger than eight indicates a tendency towards external locus of control. A score eight or lower indicates internal locus of control. Since, I score a fourteen I have a high degree of external locus of control. The norms for external locus of control is defined as the individual’s perception of events is the result of luck, fate, or chance. They see events as unpredictable because of the great complexity of external forces in the environment.
