The Temporal Lobe
The temporal lobe is placed in the base of the cortex behind the temples. It is one of the
four exceeding lobes in the cerebral cortex. The temporal lobe develops sensory
information. It controls select listening and the data collected from the ears. Sound and
speech is also created here. The temporal lobe conceives significant speech, including
sounds and pitches. Long term and visual memories are stored here. The temporal lobe
also determines objects and affiliates emotions.
The Frontal Lobe
The frontal lobe is based in the front, upper area of the cortex. Personality is created in the

Basic treatment will stabilize the affected. The following stages also focus on

Patients with grave cases are treated in intensive care. The rehabilitation stage focuses on

Each person personally affected by TBI will experience separate problems and ranging in
severity but all will experience some common issues. Communication problems, lack of
concentration, delayed responses. Some patients may also encounter damaged taste or
smell, headaches and fatigue. These are just some common problems that a patient with
TBI may encounter, the list is otherwise endless.
