I believe that the all four pillars of the National Honor Society; Academic, Character, Leadership, and Service are all very important in today’s society. The first pillar Service is where students offer their time to the school or local community with out any compensation, and that is important to our society because it shows how involved, and dedicated, students are; how they are desired to work with the school and the community without getting rewarded or recognition of any kind. The Leadership pillar which is where one demonstrates leadership within the school community it’s key to society due to the fact that it will show that you, inspire others, contribute ides, that you are responsible, self- confident, and have the ability to act
