If you face obstacles you learn to overcome them and move faster than ever by jumping over them and getting on with life. For instance, the first time you go over a speed bump in a parking lot you learn to go faster on them so you don’t rip off your sick rims.
If you experience challenges you will learn for, not just that obstacle, you learn to bypass all obstacles a little better.

I have experienced this in a mind sport called reach for the top. In this “sport” two teams of 4 battle each other by saying, nae shouting the answer to the question asked by the gamemaster. The rush of answering the question correctly is one of the best feelings I have ever had.
You may think that being resilient is very hard. Well, it’s not. You just have to see the wall or bumps and try to hurdle it. Sometimes this doesn't work. Get back up and try again or just go around. That is resilience. If you fail a test what do you do? Do you wallow in pity and not try anymore or do you study and try again? Your choice, your choice.
I think that many problems could be solved if people just tried. Trying over and over again is perseverance is what that is. Try and do something you didn’t know you could do at least once a week. That will assure near perfection.
If you fear snakes then try and break that fear by holding them as much as possible. I did this with heights and now I am still wary of heights, but I can Zipline and such with a great
