Explain How To Manage And Present Your Identity

There are many ways to manage and present my identity to others whether they are my peers, family, and teachers or to the public. First is my physical appearance, my physical appearance varies among the groups I’m surrounded by at the time, but overall the way I present myself is not that different. Second, what I say to others also depends on the group and the relationships with the individuals. This matters a lot to me because I have to make the decision to communicate in a formal or informal tone. Last but not least my behavior and the actions I present contributes to my identity because it shapes and forms personality. Presenting my physical appearance I dress pretty casual among my family, peers and friends and the public. Wearing t-shirts, jeans and flats almost every day because to me it seems common. Before I started caring about how people thought about me, I used to dress myself as a tomboy and never portray myself as a girly figure. Those who had made me view the perspectives of others and how they thought about what I do and present myself, I made a change. For example, as for my family issues and situations I don’t tell my friends, teachers, nor the public. The reason for that choice is simply because those specific groups of people don’t need to know my personal information concerning my family or me.
