Explain How To Design Accommodation For A Cat

When designing an accommodation for a cat there are many things you must take into consideration.
Under the animal welfare act you are required to:
- Provide a suitable environment
- Provide a suitable diet
- The animal must be able to exhibit normal behaviour patterns
- The animal must be housed with or apart from other animals
Must be protected from pain, suffering, injury and disease
(Animal Welfare Act 2006, 2016)
I took the five animal needs into consideration when I designed the accommodation for one adult cat that needs to be housed apart from other cats.
A cat must be kept in an accommodation that is a suitable size therefore I have designed my accommodation to be 4ftx6ftx8ft, this size is perfect for a cat to have plenty of
