I believe that sports make people come together. It doesn’t matter what level the sport is professional or just a recreational league for fun. The Kansas City Royals brought the entire city together after they won the World Series. Basketball camp are Park Hill helped me make new friends when I moved. Sports will continue to help others come together regardless of language, race or religion. Kansas City was lifeless before the Royals worked their magic last year. The playoffs was any and everything talked about. At every restaurant all the TVs were showing the game or highlights. On game day, you’d see a sea of blue on game day walking down the street ready to support the Royals. My family had a party for the last game of the World Series
