When reflecting over this discussion it has made me realize just how Mr. Wong was correct. Society has changed over the last twenty years. I know as a child growing up over twenty years ago, culture has been significantly altered with all of the advancements with technology over the years. Not only that but society in general has change a great amount from the differences in cultures, family beliefs and customs, to social standards as well. Therefore as educators we must be constantly reflecting on our society as a whole to better adapt to our students needs. By allowing to adapt to new norms we will be better prepared for change and adaption for all of our students. As their educators it’s our responsibility to be willing to change
