Explain How Perseverance Affects Me

Improved Essays
Perseverance affects me and others in the following ways: it makes you a better person, shows integrity, and it helps you accomplish your goals, and shows determination. The first reason how it affects me and the person around me is because it makes you a better person. It makes you a better person because it makes people be able to trust you more. If you are known for giving up after you fail at something, then nobody would want you to do stuff for them. Here is an example. If your coach told you to practice your free throws for the next game, and you start to miss them. If you just give up and your coach knows you did he won’t trust you to go out there and win the game for your team, so he may just not put you out there.
The second how perseverance affects you and others around is because it shows integrity. Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. This can affect the people around you because it can help them trust you. If people trust you then you will be able to do more stuff. The more stuff you do the more people will like you. That is the second reason how perseverance affects me and the people around me.
