One person Macbeth sees as a threat to the throne is Banquo and his son Fleance because the witches tell him that Fleance king someday. Macbeth starts to channel the witches when he starts to formulate a plan to kill Banquo and Fleance. More and more throughout the play Macbeth channels the witches more and more as he more power hungry. As he begins to channel the witches his personality changes in the play because in the beginning he’s such a nice and caring person and then he changes into someone that really no care about anyone as long as he is king he just cares about himself like the witches in the play. The witches cause for his change because they make Macbeth believe he invincible because he cannot be killed by someone who was born from a woman. Also his hungry for power cause him to stop really caring about lady Macbeth because at the end when she dies he gives a very puzzling response that really show the love he once had for Lady Macbeth. Also by the end of the play when Lady Macbeth dies the toll of all the things that have happened have started to show how much of a toll they have taken on him.
