Explain How I Have Changed Over The Years

Decent Essays
Overall I have changed as a person over the years. I am really glad that I have grown into someone with a different midset that before. If I didn’t meet my friends or if I did not change my attitude then I probably will not be as succeful as I am today. I probly will not have the mentality of growing up and having my future set for me.

Shearer.session1.journal I have had a lot of experiences that have shaped my life over the last five years of my life. The first I would have to say is my rededication to Christ and then the call to the ministry. To start with the rededication of my life to Christ, it was shortly after my separation and I went through a period of time lost and without purpose. My parents had been trying to get me to start going to church again and I was hesitant at first. Soon after starting back to church I was drawn by the Lord to rededicate my life and started to change a lot of things about myself in that time.…

My academic history in classes have not changed because I believe that I use the same mindset and learning style in each class to help me with my success in classes. Since my academic success did not change, I believe that my high school career would look like going into retail. So, like working at a clothing store, because according to my overall math score I am pretty good at math, that way I would be good at counting the money and doing the increases and decreases in the clothing rates. I believe that my college career would look like going into journalism, fashion design , or being a doctor. I believe that I could possibly being a television journalist or a television host because based on my academic success in theatre and English, I am…

    Change Over Time

Over time we’ve changed our minds about how the Earth came to be. Through the study of our planet and solar system we’ve widened our understanding of where we began. We went from thinking the Earth was the center of the universe to knowing for a fact that we are just a small spec in a huge ocean of planets and stars. After watching the documentary presented in class, the major theme I noticed was how over time and after years of research our ideas around how things worked and how they formed changed and continue to change as new evidence is brought to the table. For example, in the documentary they talked about how we theorise that rocks clumped together to create our planet, but they weren’t really sure how they did so.…

    Essay On DISC Assessment

Having never taken the DISC assessment before, I was unsure about what to expect. I thought it was fairly accurate in many ways, but I felt that it very much tapped into what I consider my “work” self and did not cover much of who I am outside of that. I scored a high average score on the D spectrum. This seemed accurate, as I am relatively competitive overall, I like looking at the big-picture, I don’t mind taking risks, I can be critical of those that don’t measure up to my standards and I am very interested in new and innovative things.…

In thinking of personal change right off the bat I personally view it as a point in time in my life where I felt like things took a turn and shifted. At the age of nineteen, going into my sophomore year of college I never realized how much change has occurred in my life until I start doing reflection and thinking about events that have motivated me into being the leader that I am proud to be today. It is truly a multitude of events that have led to be forming my personal definition of leadership. However, in this essay, I am going to discuss how my father's passing shifted my life, since it forced me to grow up at 15. While also sparking a flame within me to be more self-driven and recognize my adoration for relationship building in leadership.…
