You are also unable to decide what is or is not interesting. When you have a lot of testosterone it changes the way you think and your behavior. For example, when the girl was taking testosterone shot to become a male it changed the way she looked at females. She looked at them and would not be attracted to any of their qualities except for one. That one quality made her attracted to them even though she did not like anything else about them. The female taking testosterone shots would also experience an increase in libido. She was also aroused when she saw a nice car. After taking the testosterone shots and becoming male he had to learn how to rephrase things without sounding or

People with higher testosterone tend to be more confident and bold. My behavior can be dictated by hormonal influences. When girls get their period their libido increases. I feel like when I get my period my behavior is affected in many ways. One way I think my behavior is affected is if I get cramps. Sometimes cramps can make you moody which can affect my behavior. When my hormones increase I can tell that I get more irritable or easily annoyed. Hormones can effect my behavior in many ways. Hormones can effect my weight, emotions and health. For example, when I started birth control people told me I would probably gain a few pounds. I feel as if this had something to do with the hormones in the birth control. Also I feel like when I am more hormonal during my time of the month I tend to eat more than I usually do. I think weather may my hormones also. Fear has been and still is an important negative emotion. This is because if we do not fear impending danger, there is a chance that we will not survive. Even though we can be fearful of harmless stimuli at times, the times when something is harmful must be acted upon in order to ensure survival. Evolutionarily, it is better to have a false fear response than a missed response that could result in death: a higher cost to an organism than any false alarm (Stirling, Greskovich, & Johnson, 2014). The importance of fear is evolutionarily clear; hence, it is important to study it.…

For example if a child had done well at school then they would get rewarded for doing so with sticker charts or sweets or even praise. On the other hand if a child has been naughty and done something wrong then they should be punished with maybe a naughty corner etc. This theoretically teaches the child right and wrong. This links to the development of PIES at the infancy stage because of the intellectual, social and emotional development.…

Hot flashes, or vasomotor symptoms (VMS), are the most common symptom of perimenopause.1 During the menopausal transition, women experience fluctuations in sex hormones produced by the ovaries including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. While the exact pathophysiology of hot flashes is still unclear, the proposed mechanism is decreased levels of neurotransmitters in the thermoregulatory center of the hypothalamus. Estrogen withdrawal induces production of hypothalamic norepinephrine and serotonin, which lowers the thermoregulatory threshold and causes greater sensitivity to changes in core body temperature. A small rise in temperature can cause hot flashes: sudden feelings of warmth, perspiration, increased heart rate, and anxiety.1,2…

Within the past decade, gender identity and rights for those who do not identify with conventional genders have been increasingly frequently seen within society. Within western society, the conventional genders are male and female, there is no in between or variance within gender identity. However, Planned Parenthood states that gender identity is how an individual expresses their gender (“Gender & Gender Identity”). An understanding of this concept that gender is not a set between one of two options allows individuals to refute stereotypes and gender roles, and be less likely to be a target in hate crimes. Acceptance of there being a widely-varied spectrum of gender allows individuals and society to go against the conventional gender roles…
