How has communication changed in the last twenty years? There are many ways people can communicate with each other. Phones are probably the most popular ones to use to communicate. Back in the old days people who would communicate would use either a pay phone or a phone that was connected to a cord and the wall. So when people wanted to talk, they would have to wait standing for the person to finish and for the phone to be available. A couple of years later there was the portable phones where they had the antenna connected. The phone wasn't touch screen. You couldn't even text someone through it. They were pretty expensive and heavy to be carried around so, a lot of people wouldn't have it. After those the flip phones were born.
