Football, this was a sport that I have played since as long as I can remember. This sport changed me and made me who I am today. Growing up, I use to enjoy going to practice everyday but as soon as i reached high school it all changed. I dreaded going to practice and I use to be so nervous before a game that I just wanted to go home, quit and never play again. As a year went by, the emptiness inside just kept growing and I never felt happy but I felt as if I had to play, as if I was obligated to play by my coaches, my teammates, and also by my family. I remember going to my first practice and I immediately felt a sense of relief. I was in a new atmosphere in which I could start over and simply just enjoy sports for the first time in a long time.
