1. Describe how earth would be affected if it were placed at a 0° tilt? -Trevor Stines

The reason why we have seasons is because the 23.5° tilt of the earth exposes the northern hemisphere more towards the sun which in effect causes the warmer seasons and when it’s tilted away it causes cooler seasons. Moreover, it would affect temperatures and weather pattern across the earth. The weather would be the same all across the world. So if it’s a wet area it would be wet all season long, same if it was dry. This would impact the population distribution and it may create an imbalance on earth and it’s natural habitat and inhabitants.

If I were a bird researcher studying a population of birds and the earth began to shift to a 75-degree inclination, the biggest change would be a rise in temperature at the latitude marked with the white “X”. At the original 35-degree inclination, the average temps for early spring are mild and as the months continue into summer; the average daily temperatures do not go above what is described as mild and a half. If a gradual shift began towards a 75-degree inclination, you would begin to see a rise in the temperatures for this region. In the early spring, you might still find mild temperatures but as the spring progresses into summer, the temperatures…
