If I had to call myself a feminist, I would call myself a liberal feminist. Liberal feminist are persons working to change laws that support equality for women. Furthermore, liberal feminist work to change social inequalities. The book mentions liberal feminist working to change accepted gender roles in children. After working with children for many years, I find it is very important to foster growth, not gender roles. I find it very imperative to let children play with what they like: boys can play with dolls and girls can play construction.

I have always found it interesting that breast feeding in frowned upon, but women 's breast are all over television. Furthermore, her reason for women having to shave was very interesting to me and I could completely agree with her opinion. I had never really though about it much, but why must women shave and it considered optional for men. Lastly, I have always agreed with women making the same pay as men, but Laci 's statistics really put an emphasis on why it truly is imperative to be a feminist in today 's society. Overall my attitudes about feminism and women are very similar to Laci 's attitudes. I agree with everything Laci had to say.
