Personal object that encapsulates my personal life, interests and values is an alarm clock. The alarm clock in the picture, especially means a lot to me. It was a gift from my best friend from Korea a few years ago, when I told her I was going to move to the United States. She knew that I would need one to wake up in the morning. Alarm clock encapsulates my personal life, because I need it every single day in order to keep up with the schedule both with my friends and teachers. Without alarm clock, I will never be able to manage my time properly. Also, it depicts an image that I am not an early bird person. Alarm clock led me have a value of time management. I used to be a person who was always late at the meetings or school in the morning.
