Multiple procedures were taken to accurately determine how the amount of carbon dioxide changes in different temperatures using crickets. First, the ten crickets provided were placed in a clear container with the lid covering the top, considering crickets can very easily escape and set in room temperature, or 21.5 degrees celsius, for five whole minutes. After five minutes, the crickets were removed, also removing the lid on the container containing the crickets and replacing it with a carbon dioxide sensor.
