I have had many experiences with homeless people. When I was younger I was more afraid of homeless people because I didn't understand them. I felt so bad for them that I could not look at them in the eyes. As I continue to grow up I feel less afraid. I go with my church and help out homeless shelters and give food to people on the streets. One thing i think is very sad is that people pretend to be homeless so they can gain money to buy unnecessary things. I think that is one of the reasons people do to help the homeless because they don't actually know if they are homeless or not. One of the homeless people from the article, Janice, is suffering because her house burnt down. If I was her I would be so upset everyday because I would remember
