1. Experience in fundraising and or event management
I have experience in both fundraising and event management.
At Netball Victoria I worked alongside the Community Engagement Manager and was responsible for promoting the departments fundraising incentives to our members or sponsors. I was responsible for seeking cross collaboration opportunities with our major commercial sponsors and identifying commercial opportunities to incorporate our key not-for-profit organisations agendas such as the Butterfly Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
I mutually have a solid understanding of event management from working with two previous employers that focused on events to generate revenue streams in their Commercial Departments. Both my roles at Netball Victoria and Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust required me to take on some event coordinating duties and manage my workload to meet event outcomes reporting and timelines.

My position at SWiM Communications was amongst an Account Management Team of three people. All member of the team worked on all of the client’s campaigns and discussed account management in an open flexible manner. It was the company’s director belief that a good creative idea can come from anywhere so we all needed to be active contributors in coming up with ideas for clients or company campaigns. The team dynamic was very creative, collaborative, respectful and honest. We all needed the ability to work both in a team and with autonomy in a small team
