Because the mission director kept on delaying the rocket launch and lead in cutbacks, which is also the important plan for Vincent going to Titan. Therefore, when the police first found Vincent’s eyelash in the corridor near the murder site, surely Vincent would be the top suspect. However, the police didn’t find anything from the Vincent, but the director’s saliva in mission director’s eye. The director must be dying to launch this mission, and since he is too old that he is afraid not able to see it launch. As a result, to buy the time and without mission director’s permission, he decided to get rid of him. Expediting to Titan is the most important event for Gattaca’s mission, which would led someone to do anything just make sure the mission
