What is Expedia First Responder
Expedia First Responder is a tool that helps people go places when they need it most. It helps people find lodging places when a natural disaster happens by providing a streamlined and relevant booking experience during a major emergency.

why do we need it?
Natural disasters are unstoppable and beyond our control. 160 million people are impacted every year. Although it cannot be prevented, we can do our best to help people finding safe places to stay when it happened.
According to research, people commonly feel fearful, worried and overwhelmed, and the top factors when evacuees making lodging decisions are pet-friendly, kitchen availability, parking, and FEMA-reimbursement.
