People should not have wild animals as pets. According to “Killer Pets” by Blair Rainsford, “Hundreds of other wild pets have attacked or killed their owners.” (Rainsford 18) This proves that it is common for these pets to cause physical harm to their owners. pets are supposed to be gentle, loving, protective friends, not blood-thirsty time bombs. Wild animals are not meant to be treated like domestic animals, because of the possible lethal outcomes. Also stated in the article, “Exotic pets are not only hard to care for. They can make you sick ,too.” ( Rainsford 18). Wild animals can spread infectious diseases easily. Once a disease is spread to one human it can quickly pass along to many people, which could in turn cause an epidemic. This
